The IGNITE Pathways CPR & AED course is designed to teach individuals the necessary skills and knowledge to provide lifesaving assistance in emergency situations. The course covers a range of topics, including how to recognize and respond to a variety of medical emergencies such as heart attacks, strokes, and choking incidents. Participants will also learn how to perform CPR on adults, children, and infants, as well as how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED) to restore normal heart rhythms.
The goal of the course is to enable participants to respond confidently and effectively in emergency situations, potentially saving lives and reducing the severity of injuries. The curriculum for this course is provided by the American Heart Association.
