Students earn core credits (English, math, science, social studies) while taking career classes at IGNITE. It is our intent to prepare all students for the rigor of the workforce and post-secondary instructional programs.
Core teachers in English, math, science, social studies spend time in each career class, and collaborate with career instructors to provide high quality educational opportunities.
Students "defend" their learning through oral and written presentations.
Students demonstrate reading and writing skills while learning about careers related to welding.

CAREER EDUCATION DOES NOT GET ANY MORE REAL THAN IGNITE'S WORK-BASED LEARNING AND APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAMS
Class sizes have a low student-teacher ratio (10:1 or fewer) to provide each student with a unique, personalized education experience. Students grow in their abilities to communicate, take initiative, accept responsibility, understand discipline, and act with accountability.
