SETTING STUDENTS ON THE PATH TO SUCCESS

Starting Fall 23-24, students in grades 7-8 have the unparalleled opportunity to explore a variety of career areas at IGNITE Pathways.

WHAT IS SPARK ACADEMY?

Students and families will have many questions.  While this program is new, we CAN tell you what we have planned...

Spark Academy information:

  • 7th and 8th graders from any school district can participate in the Spark Academy.
  • Students will rotate to different classes every four weeks.
  • Classes will meet daily from 1:40-3:00pm at IGNITE Pathways.
  • Certified CTE instructors will teach the classes.
  • Transportation may be provided to/from IGNITE Pathways and home school district.

In each class, students will...

  • Meet industry experts.
  • Zoom with professionals from across the state, region, and/or country.
  • Explore career opportunities within each industry pathway.
  • Engage in hands-on and project-based learning activities.
  • Encounter relevant connections with English/Social Studies content.
