The Cyber Security pathway prepares students for the high demand career field of Cyber Security. Students develop a basic foundation of system administration, information security, cyber investigations, and forensics.
This program may be for you if you are interested in: computers, forensics, analysis, and information tracking, or privacy and security.
Students get hands-on experience working with computers and the security risks that affect the way individuals and companies interact with each other.
Students will learn how to troubleshoot individual PCs and explore network security risks and how to mitigate them.

Students in this program can earn a Cyber Security certification through Iowa Western Community College.
Students completing the cyber security education programs may find jobs in a variety of IT fields. Entry level positions start at $25/hour or higher.
