Interested in learning how to cook and develop skills used in professional kitchens? Culinary Foundations I introduces students to essential cooking skills and kitchen basics. In this hands-on course, students learn proper use of kitchen equipment, food safety and sanitation, and basic preparation methods. Students will prepare a variety of foods—including soups, salads, sandwiches, breakfast items, vegetables, and starches—while building confidence and practical skills that can be used at home or in culinary careers.
